VALUES
A passionate family story
Domaine Tropez is the fruit of a passion. A passion for wine, demanding and ancestral, inherited from Grégoire Chaix's grandfather, Tropez Beraud. Domaine Tropez was born as a tribute to his memory. After more than twenty-five years of meticulous work and unwavering self-sacrifice, Domaine Tropez is now asserting its convictions, reaping the fruit of its efforts through numerous medal-winning awards, and demonstrating that value does not wait for the number of years.
Tradition of wine is a source of creation, richness, charm and voluptuousness. Proof that it's possible to be successful while respecting the land and the environment, the Tropez adventure is just beginning.
GRAPE VARIETIES
Our Côtes de Provence Wines
Domaine Tropez, born of the harmonious union of AOC Côtes de Provence parcels in 1996, extends over 50 hectares bathed in Mediterranean sunshine. Thanks to numerous investments, including a state-of-the-art winery, the estate has rapidly become one of the appellation's jewels.
Grenache, the noble, emblematic grape variety, lends structure and aroma, while Tibouren, the true Tropezian ambassador, brings elegance and finesse. A complete bouquet emerges, with Cinsault for rosés, Rolle and Sauvignon for whites, and Syrah and Grenache for reds.
ENGAGED
An organic agriculture
The spellbinding wines of Domaine Tropez draw their charm from an exceptional terroir, bathed in Mediterranean sea breezes.
Cultivated according to the principles of organic farming, the vines benefit from meticulous care: meticulous tillage, appropriate natural protection and the use of certified organic fertilizers. Delicate, low-temperature harvests produce rosé and white wines with subtle, complex aromas and the beautiful pale color so characteristic of Domaine Tropez creations.
PRODUCTION
Low-temperature vinification
Equipped with two pneumatic presses, fully temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats, the winery has a grape cooler that enables the production of very aromatic cold maceration rosés. With a modern design, the three levels of the winery—reception, press, and vats—allow for the use of natural gravity for better preservation of the grapes. Here, winemaking takes place at low temperatures to achieve slow and steady fermentations, resulting in fine and harmonious wines. The cultivation of grapes respects the character of each variety in its environment. Bottling, carried out on the estate, adheres to the most stringent hygiene standards, thereby affirming Domaine Tropez's commitment to producing high-quality wines every day.
